The Petzl ASAP LOCK AXESS Kit is a pre-assembled mobile fall arrest solution designed for professional fall protection applications. Built around the ASAP LOCK mobile fall arrester and ASAP’SORBER AXESS energy absorber, this kit supports safe movement on vertical lifelines while helping reduce fall distance, improve system control, and support rescue-ready worksites.
The ASAP LOCK is designed for use on sloped roofs, swing stages, ladders, and vertical structures. It follows the user along the lifeline during normal movement and locks onto the rope in the event of a fall or sudden acceleration. Its integrated locking function allows the user to immobilize the device on the lifeline, helping reduce potential fall distance and maintain lifeline tension in windy environments.
The ASAP LOCK connection arm also helps keep the system drop-resistant when passing intermediate anchors, supporting smoother movement and better equipment control during work at height.
The included ASAP’SORBER AXESS energy absorber allows the worker to remain positioned at a greater distance from the lifeline when the task requires it. Its tear-webbing is protected inside a pouch that opens at both ends, helping reduce abrasion while allowing regular inspection of the absorber. The AXESS version is designed for users up to 310 lb and can support loads up to 550 lb in two-person rescue situations.
Certified to meet ANSI Z359.15 requirements and OSHA fall protection regulations when used with a compatible RAY 11 lifeline, the ASAP LOCK AXESS Kit is a strong option for teams that need dependable fall arrest performance, jobsite mobility, and added rescue capability.
